Description: | Lustrous trapezohedral white analcime crystals to 16 mm with yellow laumontite pseudomorphs after apophyllite crystals to 6 mm. On the edges, where the cores of the pseudomorphs are exposed, you can see laumontite cores with thin apophyllite veneer. Collected ca. 1985. The analcime fluoresces white under UV illumination |
