Description: | Lustrous transparent smoky quartz crystal with complex suture patterns on the prism faces, indicative of twinning following the Dauphiné Law of quartz twinning. The upper third of the smoky quartz crystal is nearly flawless internally. Ex. John Pitfick (?-1969) private collection #49; collected ca. 1950 |
