Description: | Thin cavities in brown limonite gossan lined with sparkling transparent blue azurite crystals with minor green malachite in areas. The azurite crystals are thin bladed form, which allows light to pass easily, making the blue color highly visible. Ex. John Pitfick (?-1969) private collection #1065; collected ca. 1960 |
