Description: | Historic specimen of blue-green 10 mm thick turquoise veins running through gray milky quartz from an old mine operated by the Arizona Turquoise Company, founded 1908, that eventually was engulfed by the open pit Mineral Park Mine which began in 1963. Ex. John Pitfick (?-1969) private collection #394; collected ca. 1930 |
