Locality:Piedra Parada, near Las Vigas, Tatatila, Veracruz, Mexico
Description:Lustrous transparent deep-purple amethyst quartz crystals with remnants of epidote matrix on the bottom where they were attached. The amethyst crystals have striated prism faces, and have milky inclusions in the lower third. Collected ca. 1993
