Description: | Lustrous black cubic bixbyite crystal on contrasting white rhyolite. The bixbyite is cubic form with {112, 121, 211} corner faces and sawtooth-like edge patterns caused by repeated {112, 121, 211} faces. The top face has a contact of white matrix. Collected ca. 1995 |
