Description: | Elongated lustrous black manganite crystals covering one face of massive crystallized manganite with minor white barite crystals. The manganite crystals are striated prismatic form with flat basal pinacoid terminations modified by secondary edge faces. Ex. Harold D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
