Description: | Sparkling white quartz microcrystals coating a 37 mm translucent green cubo-octahedral fluorite compound crystal. The decision to keep the quartz coating on the fluorite makes the crystal form more visible. (Years ago they used to remove the quartz.) The fluoresces violet under longwave UV illumination. Collected ca. 1980 |
