Description: | Lustrous gray-metallic 20 mm octahedral cuprite crystal with a similar sized copper crystal pseudomorph after an octahedral 22 mm cuprite crystal. The cuprite crystallized first, then altered from within to native copper, maintaining the cuprite shape. Collected ca. 2010 |
