Mineral:Prehnite pseudomorphs after Anhydrite with Laumontite
Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Large translucent green prehnite epimorph after 80 mm anhydrite crystal with white laumontite crystals to 5 mm scattered on the surfaces. The anhydrite crystallized first, was overgrown with prehnite, then the anhydrite dissolved leaving a hollow mold. Collected May 1995
