Description:Sparkling cluster of lustrous black babingtonite crystals to 1 mm with platy black-metallic hematite microcrystals and a few scattered transparent yellow-green epidote microcrystals. Collected ca. 1970. Babingtonite is the state mineral of Massachusetts
