Description:Sparkling cluster of lustrous black babingtonite crystals to 2 mm with translucent pale yellow-green bladed prehnite crystals to 2 mm on platy black-metallic hematite microcrystals and scattered transparent yellow-green epidote microcrystals. Collected ca. 1970. Babingtonite is the state mineral of Massachusetts
