Description: | Lustrous transparent colorless topaz crystal with rounded edges caused by alluvial wear. Internally the topaz is flawless. The old display label indicated the topaz crystal was found in alluvial tin placer deposits, which may mean the area of Takayama. Weight: 7.4 grams. Ex. Philip C. Evanoff (1915-2018) Collection. Originally acquired in January 1958 from Scott J. Williams (1924-1997), ex. Floyd A. Rapp collection in 1957 |
