Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Small cavity filled with lustrous transparent colorless acicular crystals of mesolite-natrolite. Both species mesolite (Na2Ca2Si9Al6O30 · 8H2O) and natrolite (Na2Al2Si3O10 · 2H2O) occur at this quarry and testing is required to distinguish them. Collected in 1997
