Description: | Translucent pale reddish-brown aragonite crystal floater (fully crystallized on all sides with only a small attachment point). The aragonite crystal is pseudo-hexagonal form, the result of cyclic twinning. The brown color is caused by limonite staining. Originally acquired in August 1994 at the Contin-tail Swap, Buena Vista, Colorado |
