Locality:New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous translucent calcite crystals to 5 mm on quartz pseudomorphs after glauberite crystals to 16 mm. The glauberite crystals formed first and were overgrown with quartz, then the glauberite dissolved leaving hollow molds, then calcite formed.
