Description: | Sparkling cluster of lustrous black babingtonite crystals to 5 mm (large for the species) with translucent pale yellow-green bladed prehnite crystals to 2 mm. The large babingtonite crystals must be special - The old price tag listed the price as $50. Collected ca. 1970. Babingtonite is the state mineral of Massachusetts |
