Mineral:Datolite with Calcite and Apophyllite
Locality:Millington Quarry, State Pit, Bernards Township, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Shallow cavity lined with lustrous transparent pale-green datolite crystals to 14 mm with colorless calcite crystals to 3 mm and scattered colorless apophyllite microcrystals. A good quality datolite specimen for this closed quarry. Collected in 1992. This quarry is now closed and reclaimed.
