Description: | Sharp brown limonite pseudomorph after pyritohedral pyrite crystals to 16 mm. Pyrite crystallized first, then altered molecule-by-molecule to limonite, maintaining the original pyrite shape. Pseudomorph = false form. Collected in 1998 |
