Locality:Lime Crest Quarry (Limecrest), Sussex Mills, 4.5 km northwest of Sparta, Sussex County, New Jersey
Description:Three intersecting lustrous translucent gray-black hornblende crystal with no matrix attached. The hornblende crystal was identified by streak, hardness, specific gravity, however John Cianciulli identified similar as pargasite. Collected 16 October 1994 during the FOMS field trip
Overall Size:15x12x8 mm
