Locality:Lime Crest Quarry (Limecrest), Sussex Mills, 4.5 km northwest of Sparta, Sussex County, New Jersey
Description:Lustrous black octahedral spinel crystals to 3.5 mm with bronze-colored phlogopite mica crystals in white marble with an unidentified transparent dark-red mineral, possibly garnet. Collected 16 October 1994 during the FOMS field trip
