Description: | Lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 3 mm over a thin plate of translucent green fluorite. The fluorite fluoresces violet under longwave ultraviolet illumination. Collected ca. 1975. This quartz outcrop was completely excavated by open pit mining ca. 1983. |
