Description: | Polished elongated dome-shaped cabochon of a datolite nodule that has orange-pink core color caused by microscopic hematite and copper inclusions. These Keweenaw Peninsula datolite nodules are highly sought by local collectors, especially pinks. From my personal collection, originally acquired from Hal Kramer; collected ca. 1980 |
