Description: | Spherical datolite nodule that has not been sawn or polished, with naturally rough exterior surfaces. The internal color is unknown. These datolite nodules are unique to the Keweenaw Peninsula and highly sought by local collectors. From my personal collection, originally acquired from Hal Kramer; collected ca. 1980 |
