Description: | Floater formation, fully crystallized on all sides, of lustrous translucent-to-transparent smoky quartz crystals with no attached matrix. The smoky quartz crystals are in parallel orientation causing many reflections when illuminated at certain angles. See article: What’s New in Minerals in Mineralogical Record v.24 #5. Originally acquired in trade from John Kennedy on 13 August 1994 |
