Locality:Merelani Hills, near Arusha, Tanzania
Description:Lustrous transparent green tsavorite garnet crystal, the green gem variety of grossular garnet, with no matrix attached. Several crystal faces are incomplete. The green color of tsavorite garnet is caused by high chromium and vanadium content. Weight: 14.34 carats
