Description: | Large 11 mm pseudo-octahedral translucent pink ruby crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral corundum, perched on translucent light-colored marble with scattered yellow-metallic pyrite impurities and an area of yellow-gray zircon crystals to 2 mm. The ruby fluoresces red under LW-SW UV; zircon fluoresces yellow under SW UV. |
