Description: | Lustrous transparent-to-translucent red spinel crystals in gray marble with scattered translucent yellow-gray zircon (fluorescent yellow under SW UV). The spinel crystals are octahedral form in aggregates to 10 mm of sub-parallel crystals. The spinel fluoresces red under LW-SW UV; zircon fluoresces yellow under SW UV. |
