Description: | Vivid pinkish-red ruby crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral corundum, crystallized all around with remnants of matrix on the bottom end. The surfaces of the ruby crystal are composed of microscopic parallel faces giving them a satin luster. Weight: 4.08 carats. Probably heat treated. The ruby crystal fluoresces red under LW-SW UV illumination |
