Description: | Silvery muscovite mica crystals on colorless quartz. The muscovite crystal has hemispherical structure with convex outer surfaces. Local collectors commonly label this habit as Ball Mica or Ball-Peen Mica because of the resemblance to a ball-peen hammer Collected ca. 1990 |
