Description: | Uncommonly large platy greenish-black clinochlore crystals on chondrodite-clinochlore matrix. This mine is famous for unusual mineralization and pseudomorphs, had a tragic cave-in in 1895 that led to the mine closing in 1897. Ex. George English (1864-1944) with label dating to 1893-1898 |
