Description: | Large plate of lustrous transparent wine-red uvite tourmaline crystals to 15 mm (!) intermixed with colorless rhombohedral magnesite crystals to 16 mm. The uvite tourmaline crystals are flattened form, dominated by shallow pyramidal termination faces. Ex. Rock Currier (1940-2015) Collection #4669; collected by R.C. in 1988 |
