Mineral:Chalcopyrite with Calcite and minor Tetrahedrite
Locality:Huanzala Mine, Huallanca District, Huanuco Department, Peru
Description:Lustrous brassy yellow-metallic chalcopyrite crystals to 18 mm with partial overgrowth of translucent white calcite crystals to 4 mm and minor tetrahedrite micros. The chalcopyrite crystals have parallel stepped crystallization patterns on the surfaces.
