Description: | Translucent purple hackmanite crystals, the tenebrescent variety of sodalite, in white marble. The hackmanite crystals fade to pale lavender-gray in daylight; turns deep purple after exposure to UV illumination. The hackmanite fluoresces white under SW UV and orange under LW-UV. |
