Description:Thin lustrous blood-red transparent ruby crystal, the red gem variety of the mineral species corundum, with no matrix. The ruby crystal is flattened hexagonal form with stepped parallel crystal faces on the broad termination faces. Good color-clarity. Fluoresces red under LW UV illumination. Weight: 0.4 grams
