Description:Lustrous translucent hot-pink ruby crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral species corundum, with no matrix. The ruby crystal is tapered hexagonal form, with striated crystallization patterns on the faces. Good translucency in the upper third. Fluoresces red under LW UV illumination. Weight: 7.0 grams
