Locality:Morogoro Region, Tanzania
Description:Unusually long large lustrous translucent pink ruby crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral species corundum, with scattered dark matrix inclusions in the surfaces. The ruby crystal is hexagonal form, with complex pinacoid-pyramidal terminations. Fluoresces red under LW UV illumination. Weight: 8.4 grams
