Description:Two intergrown crudely crystallized lustrous pink-red translucent ruby crystals, the red gem variety of the mineral species corundum, with remnants of matrix embedded in the prism faces. The ruby crystals are equant hexagonal form. Fluoresces red under LW UV illumination. Weight: 2.2 grams
