Description:Several lustrous translucent pinkish-red sapphire crystals, the colored gem variety of the mineral species corundum, in fine-grained matrix. The sapphire crystals are equant hexagonal form, with flat basal pinacoid terminations. The sapphire crystals were coated to improve luster
