Locality:Mina do Urubu, Itinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Description:Lustrous translucent green elbaite tourmaline crystal with no matrix attached. The elbaite crystal core has altered to pink lepidolite which is visible on the bottom. If the alteration had continued it would have resulted in a pseudomorph after elbaite. Weight: 12.9 grams
