Description: | Vivid pink-red ruby crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral corundum, with no attached matrix. The ruby crystal is flattened hexagonal form with stepped parallel crystal faces on the broad terminations. Fluoresces red under LW UV illumination. Weight: 1.26 carats (0.25 grams) |
