Locality: | Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey |
Description: | Translucent brown quartz pseudomorph after a rectangular 20 mm anhydrite crystal. The anhydrite crystallized first, was overgrown with quartz, then the anhydrite dissolved leaving hollow pseudomorphic mold, also known as an epimorph. Collected 26 July 1997 |
