Locality:Winza, Mpwapwa District, Dodoma, Tanzania
Description:Lustrous translucent pink ruby crystal, the pink gem variety of the mineral corundum, with remnants of light-colored matrix in crevices. The ruby crystal is tapered hexagonal form, with diagonal crystallization patterns on the prism faces. Fluoresces red under SW-LW UV illumination. Weight: 1.5 grams
