Description: | Doubly terminated lustrous transparent-to-translucent blue bladed barite crystals with no matrix attached. The barite crystals are slender elongated prismatic form with chisel-like terminations. The barite fluoresces white under LW UV illumination. Ex. Richard Holmes collection #BAR-39, originally acquired from Ross Lillie; collected ca. 1993 |
