Description: | Lustrous dark wine-red spessartine garnet crystals on a compact mass of spessartine garnet. The spessartine crystals are trapezohedral form, with satin-like surface luster caused by microscopic crystallization patterns on the surfaces. Collected by D. Swenson in June 2008 |
