Mineral:Apophyllite and Babingtonite on Quartz with Calcite
Locality:Upper New Street Quarry, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Unusually large 50 mm translucent white apophyllite crystal, with smaller apophyllite crystals and blocky green-black babingtonite crystals to 2.5 mm on lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 1.5 mm and translucent colorless calcite to 7 mm. Collected in 1980s to 1990s by Prof. Martin Becker
