Description: | Unusually large translucent-to-transparent colorless apophyllite crystals to 40 mm, with black petroleum in crevices. The apophyllite crystals are square prisms with dominant pyramidal terminations. Millington petroleum was uncommon (Cummings, 1985). Collected in 1990s by Prof. Martin Becker, author of Recent Mineral Finds at the Millington Quarry in Rocks and Minerals v.73 #5 |
