Description: | Elongated curved formation of radiating fibrous white pectolite crystals in aggregates to 12 mm diameter, with pink color on the termination surfaces, over translucent green datolite. The Millington Quarry was famous for these pink pectolites. Collected in 1990s by Prof. Martin Becker, author of Recent Mineral Finds at the Millington Quarry in Rocks and Minerals v.73 #5 |
