Description: | Concave plate of lustrous transparent yellow calcite crystals to 22 mm with brown bladed goethite microcrystals. The calcite crystals are rhombohedral form, with satin luster, and fluoresce under LW-SW ultraviolet illumination. Collected in 1990s by Prof. Martin Becker, author of Recent Mineral Finds at the Millington Quarry in Rocks and Minerals v.73 #5 |
