Description: | Lustrous transparent red-brown grossular garnet crystals in a convex cluster over garnet-rich gray matrix. The grossular garnet crystals are dodecahedral form, with glassy dodecahedral faces, and thin, silky trapezohedral edge faces. From my private collection. Collected ca. 1980 |
